No F**king WAY - Bionic Woman
September 26, 2007

How’d this happen, our very own little miss Eastenders mardy pants aka Michelle Ryan makes it big time in the USA as the lead in the new Bionic Woman TV show that hits the air tonight at 9pm on NBC.
Who’d have thought that, a common as muck Eastenders girl makes it in the States in what looks like it’s going to be one of the biggest shows (if you believe what you read) this year.

Well good look to you little miss smarty pants, we look forward to seeing the show, I’m still shocked but then she is hot as Fooooook. Well done Congrats…
Heres a picture of our new USA media darling for the eye candy value…

Foo Fighters Viral Video Epic - by Christian Debney
September 26, 2007
TS: How did you get the project in the first place?
CD: I did a pitch through the production company Draw Pictures and the Sony team loved the idea so they gave me a small budget to get to work.
TS: How did you come up with the idea of the teddy bears and WAR! ?
CD: I love entertainment and the idea of mixing childhood imagery with visions of war seemed to fit the track, the hardest part was animating all the bears, and making each one a character in its own right.
TS: How long did it take you to make the video in the end?
CD: the whole thing took about 3 weeks to make, and then the Sony team sat on it for a week or two while they got their marketing team to put some ideas behind it.
TS: will it be shown on TV?
CD: I’m not sure, it was originally briefed as a viral video and so I’m not sure.
TS: Thank you for sending it in to us Chris and lets hope it leeds to you getting more work, I hear that you are now representing yourself as a director?
CD: Yes that right, I have set myself a new mission - to now look for representation, I still own and run my own animation company “Dirty UK” but I wanted to push my own directing too and so now I am looking for a production company to rep me for music videos, commercials or my biggest dream is to make a feature , I have worked on many including Star Wars Attack of the Clones and V for Vendetta and I have the big screen bug.
TS: What was it like to work with the Hollywood big boys?
CD: Its addictive, so much crew and kit, and anything is possible - I loved working with George Lucas and his team, I made the light sabers and worked in the props department on both films.
TS: Thank you Chris and good look with your directing, please do keep us posted.
Wanted - Blogger for Cannes Fringe
September 24, 2007
Cannes Fringe is looking for a full time bloger / journalist to join the team. Cannes Fringe is an entertainment channel for people in the Advertising, Film and Entertainment industries. We now need a full time bloger to come and join us to help drive the sites content and style.
The ideal person will have good bloging skills and be comfortable compiling their own posts using WordPress. You’ll need to be able to do a small amount of hand coding to get your posts looking right and insert media into the posts etc. If you have some journalistic experience that would be ideal – but passion is worth more than skill at this stage as we grow our channel. Pay will be on a per post basis depending on the time commitment that the applicant can give to the project, or on a full time basis depending on experience. The post is possibly a remote working opportunity, so it does not matter where the ideal person is based.
Please email asa@asabailey.com for more information, or send in your CV and tell us about yourself.
Good luck
Asa Bailey
