Royal Navy “Get the Message” Campaign
July 31, 2007

The recent Royal Navy campaign “Get the Message” invites users to deliver a message to your friends via the various different regimental divisions in the force. You have the choice of Commandos emerging from the deep forest undergrowth to someone jumping out of a helicopter and so on.

It works well and with high production values instilling the professionalism, excitment and trust that someone can give to the Royal navy to deliver when asked!

Pepsi - ‘Play with Me’ Campaign
July 31, 2007

Here is the Pepsi campaign “Play with Me”. It has all the hall marks of the a typical campaign that plays on the willingness of blokes to stitch up thier mates. In this case we type in our friend’s characteristics and an emabarrassing photo, email it to him and he sees a gorgeous Pepsi girl videoblogging about his traits ending in a rather revealing climax?!

We have seen this format before and this has mild enjoyment if its the kind of thing that floats your boat. It is the kind of thing that you send on to others but to be honest the product relationship is rather tenuous. How many times have we seen a good looking woman bookended by a brand…?

Sisley’s “Fashion Junkie” Press Ad
July 27, 2007
This is a bold and knowing statment from Italian high street fashion brand Sisley. With Kate Moss’s recent antics firmly in the public psyche and the obvious connection between the fashion world and a certain type of narcotic its a brave move which will undoubtedly generate all kinds of PR and controversy. The fashion world and a certain white powder have always gone hand in hand!
