During the week Cannes Fringe have been out and about letting people know about our coverage of the Cannes Advertising Festival. We were lucky enough to meet Terry Savage, Chief Executive of Cannes Lions outside the Palais this week and he gave us a THUMBS UP! for what we were doing!! Thanks Terry…

Cannes Fringe at the Carlton and Gutter Bar

Last night Cannes Fringe braved the Carlton Hotel and Gutter Bar to soak up the atmosphere and true nightly flavours that the Cannes Advertising Festival is famous for! We met some interesting people including Chairman and Creative Director of M & C Saatchi, Moray McLennan and Graham Fink respectively with a specially guest host on Cannes Fringe Phil McCluney, TV Producer at DDB London
The night lived up to all expectations…The Gutter Bar and Carlton Hotel were heaving with industry types as always and Cannes Fringe was there to see it in all its glory!!

Here at the Fringe HQ in Cannes we are busy working on the last touches of all the great footage we got last night and this morning. The team is on its last legs but we are almost there. The feedback has been amazing with over 12.000 pages served this week.
Considering we started with a couple of hundred on Monday. Thank you everyone for passing it on and keep checking us out. But its not all about us. We meet so many other teams, crews and one-man docu makers on the streets who are all contributing to Cannes in their own special way. We want to help them to get their voices heard as well. So please sent us your links, films etc and we will put them up here for all the Fringe lovers to see. Sent it to info@cannesfringe.com.
Check these guys out as well Arnold Worldwide. We met them outside the Palais and we think they are doing a great job. Trust us, we know how hard it is to do this every day… Very nice work.

Cannes Fringe talks to Steve Davies & Matt Miller at World Producers Summit

Cannes Fringe was at the World Producers Summit today held at the Beefeater, in Basingstoke just off the A37. We managed to grab an exclusive interview with Steve Davies of the Head of the APA and Matt Miller CEO of the AICP. They summarized many of the points that were raised during the summit where the world’s largest production companies and most important producers come together to discuss their role and position in the industry.
