Here is an interesting viral set up by Microsoft to promote its digital advertising solutions. It tells the story of a girlfriend “the consumer”, wanting to break up with her boyfriend “the advertiser”. It is cleverly done and highlights many of the thoughts banding around at the moment about the importance of “engaging” the consumer instead of “distrupting” them with a brand’s campaign. It looks like it all ends in tears…!
